Is my data private?
Yes. Entries are encrypted on your device before they leave it. We do not read your writing, train on it, or share it with anyone.
Can I export everything?
Yes, on Pro and Studio. One click gives you a single JSON file with every entry, date, and tag. Plain text, readable anywhere.
Do you have an iOS or Android app?
Not yet. Murmur is currently a web app that works on any modern browser, including phones. Native apps are on the road map, slowly.
Can I write offline?
Yes. Murmur caches your work locally and syncs when you are back online. You can write a long entry on a train without a signal.
Do you have a free plan?
Yes. The free tier holds up to 200 entries, with local encryption and basic search. Enough to make it a habit.
How do I delete my account?
From your account settings, in one click. Your data is removed from our servers within thirty days. Your local copy is yours.
